Vintage Roamer Micro Quartz Chronometer Beautiful Wood Case Swiss Movement Runs?
Here is a nice Roamer Quartz Chronometer from the 1970s to 1980s for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself!
Beautiful Roamer Quartz Chronometer that was made in Switzerland.  The company got started in 1972 and is still making quality time instruments.
We understand this model was only offered for a couple years, so not a whole lot of them out there.
There was no outer case that came with this model, do not think there ever was one.
Nice mahogany wood case with brass lacquered corner protectors.  No cracks hairlines or repairs to the wood case.  Some very minor finish loss to the case from age and use.  The brass lacquered handles are also in place.  The push button latch on the top part of the case is in place and operates.  The lock is in place on the lower part of the case, no key for the lock.  The glass inside the case is intact, no cracking or blistering. The gimbal ring and the lock for the ring are in place.  Still have a good brass lacquer finish on them.
The top part of the case is securely attached to the lower part by the hinge. 4 pieces of tan felt on bottom of case are still in place.
The movement is battery powered.  Says “C” on the movement, but that does not fit in the battery holder.  No battery will be included.  The battery compartment is clean, no acid corrosion noted.  Cannot determine if in running condition or not since cannot find the right battery to use.
So, selling in not running condition.
The movement has a silver colored face.  The minute, hour and seconds hand are black and look appropriate to the clock.  The glass bezel is in place.  No cracks or blistering.
The chronometer case is 6.75″ tall, by 6.75″ across, by 7″ wide (by push button). The clock face is 3-7/8″ across.  A 25th anniversary metal gold colored placard in the top of the case for a Campbell Soup employee.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
